Forward Curved - Multivane Fans (Radial flow)

 

These industrial fans produce large amounts of air at extremely low pressure. These industrial fans are commonly used in industry for recirculation of hot air within a furnace of some description or in an exhausting application. Morse Air Systems manufacture these industrial fans in heavy materials including mild steel, stainless steel and incoloy 800H, due to the high temperature requirements. They are not suited to material handling applications. The Multivane fan is also used widely for providing air ventilation for power plants and data storage centres

The typical forward curve fan design is not known for its fan efficiency and as a result in some markets it is not well suited. The forward curve multi-vane industrial fan design does have advantages and experienced fan engineers know when best to employ this design and what applications will benefit from the forward curve industrial fan option.
