Paddle Blade Fans (Radial flow)

 

As with the radial blade industrial fan, the paddle fan is ideally suited for material handling air movement applications. The impeller does not have a back plate or front shroud with the fan blades being supported by a central spider section. Sometimes the paddle blade fan impeller will include bolt on wear plates which are replaceable.

Similar in purpose to the radial impeller, the paddle blade industrial fan can be found most commonly at timber mills, cement and fertiliser plants as well as at foundries and packaging production facilities.
