Recirculation Fans

 

Recirculation industrial fans, like combustion blower fans, are often found in industrial furnace applications. Typically the recirculation fans moves large volume of high temperature air around a furnace system. An example would be in the heating of an aluminium billet prior to going through the rolling process. Since these industrial fans are generally subjected to elevated temperatures, materials such as 304 stainless steel and Incolloy are used for the fan impeller. Axial and forward curve industrial fan impeller designs are generally opted for in the recirculation fans.

Industrial fan engineers are able to arrange recirculation fans in various orientations to save on space and affect a better design for space. Service, maintenance and ready access should also be considered when specifying the style and arrangement of the recirculation fan assembly.
